History

Hi, my name is Annie and I am originally from Suffolk. I grew up in a very athletic atmosphere  – my brother was fantastic at all sports.

Even as a young child, I was very active in sports. My happy childhood and teenage years were shaped by sports; my dream was to run for GB.  I was able to achieve regional successes in track and field.

At the age of four years old, I also studied, tap, ballet, jazz, modern and contempory dance for 14 years.

I still dance whenever I can!

I moved to London to find my passion and I wanted to study sports. For the past 16 years now, I have been calling this city home and continue to love it.

I have been a successful fitness competitor, which involves a great knowledge of muscle development as well as achieving a high degree of cardiovascular fitness.  I also modelled for Puma Sport Clothing and was featured on the front page of TimeOut magazine. My aim is to become an Ultra marathon runner by the end of 2011.

I am a keen fundraiser for GOSH (Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital and Children with Leukaemia) several cancer charities.

I was combining my job as a Personal Assistant and my major passion for to long, for over twenty years.  So, I decided to take the plunge and follow my childhood dream.

After having successfully completed my recent studies, I trained as a bootcamp trainer for a while, but quickly found out that I loved the personal touch, I still love working with groups though. I just have a special interest in working directly with people, and want to cater to each individual as much as possible, and that, unfortunately, is not possible as the trainer of a 15-member bootcamp. Although, I do love the group fun and discussions!

I decided on a career as a professional fitness coach. It was possible for me to train with just one person.  I enjoy every minute of it and the freedom of being my own boss. I can already look back on many happy hours during which I was able to help my clients reach the goals they had set for themselves.

I combine the three main areas of my experience dance, fitness training and running to give my clients an unique training experience.
